Turning Off the Detector Gas Flow
Charged Aerosol Detectors (VH-D20, VF-D20)

4. Turn on the gas flow in the detector using the GAS button on the
keypad of the detector or using the chromatography data system.
5. Close the detector doors.
6. Wait at least 5 minutes and only then turn on the pump flow, if
needed.
This procedure depends on whether the pump flow is on.
Pump flow is off
Turn off the gas flow in the detector
using the GAS button on the keypad of
the detector or using the
chromatography data system.

Pump flow is on
1. Turn off the pump flow.
2. Wait at least 5 minutes and only then
turn off the detector gas flow using the
GAS button on the keypad of the
detector or using the chromatography
data system.
