Mode: Auto, Manual

Auto mode uses the default SSID and IP range
l
In Manual mode, the user can configure AP SSIDs and the IP range used by the DHCP server
l
SSID: Displays the default SSID or the manually configured SSID used by the AP
l
IP Address: Displays the default or manually configured IP address range used by the AP
l
Press Enable to enable AP Mode. After pressing enable, the test set will broadcast its SSID, which any WiFi cli-
ent device can connect to.
Remote Access
There are different ways to control or access the test set and the information it contains, from a local (LAN) or
remote (WAN) connected PC:

This VeEX application allows the test set to connect, using the platform's IP address. ReVeal CX300 is used
for cable test sets, ReVeal FX300 for fiber test sets,ReVeal MTX for MTX, WX, RXT, MTTplus or TX series and
transport test sets. ReVeal offers the following functions:
Test Profiles Management: Create, Edit, upload and download complex Ethernet and Fibre Chan-

nel test profiles (BERT, Throughput, RFC2544, Y1564 SAM, Scan, IP, Ping/Trace, Packet Capture,
etc)
Test Results Management: Download results from the test set, manage local test results (PC

HDD), generate detailed test reports, export to CSV or PDF, and print.
View software options, licenses, serial numbers, perform remote software updates

ReVeal is a Windows® application that can be downloaded free of charge from www.veexinc.com.
Connect remotely from a desktop PC via ReVeal tool software or through Remote Access on the test set. To
proceed with remote access, make sure that remote control software is installed on the PC device. Configure
