Proprietary & Confidential
Name — Participant's name. You can enter or edit a name by clicking the
•
Rename Participant button to the right.
If you enter a participant name, the ReadiVoice system puts that name into
the CDR (call detail record) for that participant.
Conference Controls
Two groups of buttons are arranged vertically to the right of the participant
list. The upper buttons perform conference-related functions:
Join Conference — Connects you to the conference. While you're in
the conference, this becomes the Leave button, which you click to
leave the conference.
If the conference is locked, you see the Ring button instead. Click it to
notify the conference that an operator wants to join. When the
subscriber unlocks the conference, the button changes back to Join,
and you can enter the conference.
End Conference — Ends the conference.
Listen Only — Puts all ordinary participants into listen-only mode,
but doesn't affect the subscriber (or you, the operator, if you're in the
conference). Listen-only participants can hear the conference, but
can't speak. Disable Listen Only returns the conference to its original
(non-listen-only) state.
Unlike muted participants, listen-only participants can't unmute
themselves.
Lock — Locks the conference.
Caution: By default, operators can't unlock conferences, so you
probably can't undo this action. Ask your system administrator if you
can unlock conferences.
Mute All — Mutes all ordinary participants, but doesn't affect the
subscriber (or you, the operator, if you're in the conference). Muted
participants can hear the conference, but can't speak. Unmute All
returns the conference to its original (unmuted) state.
Unlike listen-only participants, muted participants can unmute
themselves.
Dial Call — Opens the Dial Participant dialog box, where you can
dial out to add a participant to the conference.
