Making a Conference Listen Only

20
A subscriber may ask you to make a conference listen only. Listen only is
similar to mute all, in that all of the conference participants' lines are muted
except the subscriber's. Conference participants can hear the conference, but
can't speak to it.
But, in a listen-only conference, participants can't unmute themselves as they
can with a mute-all conference.
Subscribers can also make a conference Listen Only, using touchtone (DTMF)
commands or the Moderator interface.
To make a conference listen-only:
1
In the Conference Details view
Only button.
The ReadiVoice system mutes all participants except the subscriber,
changing their status in the participant list accordingly. The Listen Only
button changes to Disable Listen Only.
If your operator voice path is connected to the conference, listen only
mode doesn't affect it. But, you can mute your operator line individually
by selecting it in the participant list and clicking Mute Participant.
2
To return the conference to its original state, click the Disable Listen
Only button.
(Figure 2-4
on page 17), click the Listen
