Cleaning the grate and combustion chamber

Operating Instructions SP Dual compact | B1500319_en

❒ Open the insulated door to the pellet unit

❒ Fold the cover plate forward

➥ When opening, use enough force to overcome the magnet

❒ Remove the combustion chamber cover

❒ Pull the burn-out tray and burner insert up and remove from the combustion

chamber

➥ Clean both components thoroughly

➥ Check the air openings in the burner insert for unobstructed flow

❒ Thoroughly clean the complete combustion chamber including the burner below

using a fire utensil, broom and ash vacuum

Checking the tightness is shown below using the example of the fuel loading door and

is carried out in the same way for the other boiler doors.

On the door stop side and door handle side:

❒ Open the door and insert a sheet of paper at both the top and the bottom of the

door stop between the door and the boiler

❒ Close the door and try to pull out the sheets of paper

➥ If the paper can be removed:

door is not sealed properly and must be adjusted!
