6. Grip the latch handle and ease the IOM forward from the slot as shown in detail No.2 within
NOTE: The illustration above shows a 4-port controller module of model type FC/iSCSI. However, the
procedure applies to all IOMs discussed herein. They all use the same latch mechanism, but feature different face
plate geometry.
7. Place both hands on the canister body, and pull it straight out of the enclosure such that the controller module
remains level during removal.
