3.2.5 Adjusting the stabilizing rod
(3a+b) When widening the seat, the stabilizing
rod must be adjusted to the new measure-
ments. There are two different kinds of stabiliz-
ing rods:
•
3a
single piece (for extendable push
handles),
•
3b
three piece (for standard push
handles).
•
After widening, the single piece stabiliz-
ing rod must be place in the appropri-
ate hole (A) and screwed on tightly.
•
As for the three piece stabilizing rod,
the middle piece must be displaced in
to the appropriate hole (B) and after-
ward screwed together tightly.
