Symptom
The transformer
trips during

Possible Cause
An exception occurs after
the temperature controller
is faulty (the temperature
controller sends a trip
signal).
The insulation between the
line or transformer and the
ground is faulty.
The transformer is
overloaded or the three
phases are severely
asymmetric.
Misoperations caused by
various reasons
The transformer is damp or
dusty.
The insulation component
is damaged.
The temperature controller
is not displayed.
The temperature controller
generates an alarm and
displays (H).
The temperature controller
generates an alarm and
displays (L).

Suggestion
Check the sensor cable connection. If necessary,
clear the temperature control signal during the
no-load switch-on period.
Power off the system. Check whether the line is
damaged, aged, flawed, or damped, and
whether there are foreign objects (especially
snakes and mice).
Check the load current, switch settings, and
temperature control display. If the load is heavy,
adjust the load.
● Check for line and transformer faults
thoroughly.
● Check the source of the trip signal and the
protection status of the system.
Use a vacuum cleaner to clean the transformer.
● If the insulation of the iron core is low:
– Measure the insulation resistance of the
threaded screw.
– Check the insulation between the upper
and lower iron yokes, clamps, and pads
(for foreign matter and condensation).
● If the coil insulation is low:
Check whether the coil surface and spacer are
damped.
Check the cable outlet fixing and insulator
status.
● Check whether the power supply meets the
requirements and whether the power switch
is turned on.
● Check the fuse of the temperature controller.
The temperature sensor may be open-circuited.
Remove and reinsert the sensor plug. If the
fault persists, contact transformer technical
support.
The temperature sensor may be short-circuited.
