At the CPDC

Locate the circuit breaker that powers the RSC-M shelf and unit (0 or 1).

Determine if the circuit breaker is ON or OFF.
If the circuit breaker
is OFF
is ON

Set the circuit breaker to ON.
At the front of the RSC-M cabinet

Push the power switch on the converter up. Hold the power switch in the
RESET position as you set the circuit breaker to ON.

Release the power switch on the converter to the ON position.
If the circuit breaker
remains ON and the CONVERTER FAIL LED is lit
turns OFF again and the CONVERTER FAIL LED
remains lit
remains ON and the CONVERTER FAIL LED is not
lit
At the front of the RSC-M cabinet

Set the circuit breaker to OFF.

Replace the power converter card. Perform the correct procedure in the
Card Replacement Procedures . Complete the procedure and return to this
point.

Determine the state of the power converter you replaced. Determine the state
of the associated circuit breaker.
If the circuit breaker
is OFF, and the CONVERTER FAIL LED is lit
remains ON, and the CONVERTER FAIL LED is lit step 30
remains ON and the CONVERTER FAIL LED is not
lit
