Causes and Solutions for Other Cases

Printing is slow.

Cause
Printing is also being processed in the Mac
computer.
[High Quality] or [Fine/Detail] is selected for
[Quality] or [Print Quality].
The print data is complicated.

An EPS file cannot be printed in high quality.

Cause
Since an EPS-format file cannot be recognized by QuickDraw
(Mac OS X's drawing system), it is printed at screen resolution
(72 dpi).
Setup cannot be performed through network connection. Unable to print.
Cause
There is a problem
with the setup or
printing.
The network
connection setting is
incorrect.
A connection is not
established to a
wireless access point.
Solution
Refer to "If You Cannot Print Via the Network".
The printer cannot connect to a wired LAN and wireless LAN at the same time. To
connect to a wired network, set the network connection to wired. To connect to a
wireless network, set the network connection to wireless.
Check that the wireless access point power switch is turned on, and then establish a
connection.
Solution
Use a Mac computer with faster processing
speed.
Select [Normal] for [Quality] or [Print Quality] in
the printer driver.
Simplify the print data.
Solution
Change the format to PICT, TIFF, or any other
graphic format. Use the PS printer driver.
