3. Re-Install Burner.
» After cleaning burner, scrape old gasket from
burner and premix plate and install a new
Grafoil gasket onto burner stud plate.
» Reinstall burner plate using same 3/8" b7 nuts
and Belleville washers. Be sure Belleville washer
is properly installed. Torque each nut to 23 ft.-
lbs. in the specified pattern.
» Scrape off old burner plate gasket and reinstall
a new Grafoil Gasket onto Furnace flange studs.
» Carefully position the burner on the floor jack.
» Slowly insert the burner into the furnace
(adjust jack height to install burner parallel
with floor).

MAINTENANCE & TROUBLESHOOTING
» Once burner is fully seated on the studs,
reinstall the ½" grade 2H nuts and Belleville
washers. Torque each nut to 45 ft.-lbs. in two
stages using the specified pattern.
» Reinstall all components (pilot, scanner, premix
elbow). Be sure pilot o-ring is in place and
torque screws to 60 in.-lbs. Torque coupling
clamps to 40 in.-lbs.
