2.9 Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)

Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is the legal identity of your vehicle. The vehicle
identification number is stamped on the VIN plate riveted on to the top face of the
cross member under the hood of the vehicle. The engine number is also stamped on
the same plate.

2.10 Engine Number

The engine number is punched on the LHS face of the crankcase adjacent to the
water pump. The engine number is also stamped on the VIN plate near the bonnet
release lever.
