Not Installing the unit behind the ceiling:
It is recommended to request from your dealer.
When installing the unit yourself, be sure to follow the precautions and the operation manual.
When caring for the unit, be sure to stop its operation and turn off the power switch to prevent accidents.
If it is very dirty, wash it with a soft brush and mild detergent.
After washing with water, drain it thoroughly, dry it in a shaded area for 20 to 30 minutes, and then securely reattach it to the original
position.
< Caution>
4. Do not use an organic solvent such as gasoline and thinner.
Caring for the heat exchange element
Follow the instruction manual of each model and clean the element at least once every two years.
Use a vacuum cleaner to remove dirt and dust from the surface of the heat exchange element.
(The vacuum cleaner must have a brush at the end.)
Lightly brush the surface of the heat exchange element.
(Be careful not to crush the mesh of the heat exchange element.)
< Caution>
1. Do not wash the heat exchange element of the standard type model with water.
Other precautions for use
The heat exchange element may become clogged with dust or debris, which may reduce the performance and cause failures.
If the heat exchange element is scratched or deteriorated during cleaning, be sure to replace it to prevent further damage.
Doing so may deteriorate the performance and cause freezing and water leakage.
Intake of fog, haze or high-humidity air may cause water leakage to the outside of the unit due to water droplets dripping from the air
accumulated in the unit, wipe it off before use.
If Heat Reclaim Ventilator unit is operated continuously while the outside air (OA) is humid and the air conditioner is stopped,
the return air (RA) will be out of the operating temperature/humidity range and water will be removed from the heat exchange element,
which may result in water leakage. In such a case, operate the air conditioner to adjust the humidity in the living room so that it is
within the operating range, or stop operating the Heat Reclaim Ventilator unit.
When there is a large amount of snow, wind, or rain such as during a snowstorm or typhoon, stop the operation to prevent the water
from entering.
