Usage conditions
[General information]
Do not install in the following locations or areas.
• Places that are prone to fogs (the moisture resistant type can
be used within the range of [① Ambient conditions])
• Places with a large amount of oily smoke such as cooking
rooms
• Places such as mechanical and chemical factories where
the return air (RA), outside air (OA) or air at the installation
site generates harmful gases such as acids, alkalis, organic
solvents, paints and pesticides, as well as gases that contain
corrosive components.
• Places with high temperature and humidity such as
a bathroom, heated pool, mushroom cultivation room, bedrock
bath (the moisture resistant type can be used within the range
of ① Ambient conditions])
Do not use the product to collect the heat of odorous air and supply it to other places.
Install the outside air intake port in the outdoors where it does not intake exhaust gas or factory smoke that causes bad odors or
Protection against insect invasion
In suburban buildings where there are windows or outdoor lights near the outside air suction port (OA), and places where insects
the room. Also, small insects that entered from the outside air suction port (OA) may come out from the exhaust air outlet (EA).
In cold regions or places with strong outside wind, outdoor wind may enter through the duct while the unit is stopped.
Be sure to install an electric shutter or the like to prevent this. If water is accumulated in the unit, wipe it off before use.
The unit cannot be driven in cold regions and the like that are out of the operating conditions temporarily or throughout the day.
Stop the operation if the installed environment is out of the operating condition range.
Intake of fog, haze or high-humidity air may cause water leakage to the outside of the unit due to water droplets dripping from
If water is accumulated in the unit, wipe it off before use.
When using the unit in cold regions, there is a risk of condensation and freezing, so be sure to check the operating conditions and
precautions, and provide additional heat insulating materials. Stop the operation at -15°C or less.
If the ambient temperature of the Heat Reclaim Ventilator unit exceeds the upper limit of the operating range (due to a heater for
heating supply air installed near the product, etc.), a damage or malfunction may occur. Make sure that the ambient temperature and
the outside air / return air temperature do not exceed the upper limit of the operating range.
Do not install the unit in a place that's exposed to ultraviolet rays, as it will cause the heat insulating material to deteriorate.
In areas affected by volcanic ash, be sure to
(prepared locally) at the outside air intake port
and indoor exhaust port.
Salt damage measures in coastal areas
If the Heat Reclaim Ventilator unit is installed
Where the outside air or exhaust suction air exceeds 40°C, the life of the unit may be
of electrical parts such as motors.
When the indoor pressure is negative or the outside wind is strong, the unit may take in the
like for each of the outside air suction port (OA) and exhaust air outlet (EA) as a wind
intrusion prevention measure.

• Places where oil is present in the air, oil is scattered, or a large
amount of steam is present
