The equipment does not respond to a ping command.
When this has occurred, take the appropriate actions by following the checklist below.

Confirm that the TCP/IP protocol suite is
installed in the client computer.

From the Home screen > [User Functions -
User-] > [Admin] tab > [List/Report] > [List]
> [NIC Configuration Page], check that the
TCP/IP settings are correct. Is the IP
address entered and is it valid? Are the
Gateway and Subnet settings correct?

Execute the ping command to the
equipment again. Does the equipment
respond to the ping command?

Execute the ping command to the
equipment from another computer on the
same network. If there is no response, an
out-of-range or invalid IP address may be
assigned to the equipment.

Is it possible to execute the ping
command to the equipment from another
computer on the same network?
The touch panel has locked or a network shutdown has occurred after the LDAP search
has been performed.
