8.QUESTIONS FOR NETWORK
 The equipment does not respond to a ping command.
When this has occurred, take the appropriate actions by following the checklist below.

1 Confirm that the TCP/IP protocol suite is
installed in the client computer.
2 From the Home screen > [User Functions -
User-] > [Admin] tab > [List/Report] > [List]
> [NIC Configuration Page], check that the
TCP/IP settings are correct. Is the IP
address entered and is it valid? Are the
Gateway and Subnet settings correct?
3 Execute the ping command to the
equipment again. Does the equipment
respond to the ping command?
4 Execute the ping command to the
equipment from another computer on the
same network. If there is no response, an
out-of-range or invalid IP address may be
assigned to the equipment.
5 Is it possible to execute the ping
command to the equipment from another
computer on the same network?
 The touch panel has locked or a network shutdown has occurred after the LDAP search
has been performed.
