2.QUESTIONS FOR COPYING
 A copied image is skewed.
This may occur due to the following causes. Check them and take the appropriate actions.
The original is sent from the ADF at a skew.
There is too much space between the paper and
the side guides in the drawer or the bypass tray.
 A copied image is partially missing.
This may occur due to the following causes. Check them and take the appropriate actions.
The size or orientation of the copy paper and that
of the original are not consistent. The
reproduction ratio is not properly set.
The binding margin is too wide.
The original is larger than the printable area.
 A copied image is blurred.
This may occur due to the following causes. Check them and take the appropriate actions.
There is a gap between the original glass and the
original.
The copy paper is damp.
 A copied image has unevenness in the horizontal direction.

Replace the original while aligning the side guides of the ADF to
its width so that it will be placed straight.
Adjust the space between the paper and the side guides so that
it becomes appropriate. For details, see the reference below:

Set paper whose size matches the original or select the
reproduction ratio corresponding to the size of the paper.
Set the binding margin width to fully cover the original. For

The outside part of the printable area cannot be copied. By
enabling the Full Image function, the whole image of the original
can be copied in the 95 - 99% reduction ratio. For details, see the

- Reducing images to scan the entire original, including the
edges (Full Image) (Color Model only)
Lower the original cover or the ADF fully so that the original fully
contacts the original glass.
Replace it with dry copy paper.
