► CAUTION! The various settings of the prosthetic knee joint for the following exercises cannot
be adjusted entirely independently of each other. If the settings cannot be fully adjusted to the
comfort needs of the patient, the settings must be established primarily based on safety
aspects. The extension position has to be reached with every step and at any walking speed.
► Adapt the settings of the prosthetic knee joint to the patient by means of fine-tuning and exer
cises.
► Check the adjustment of the prosthesis settings during normal consultations and as part of
the annual safety inspections.
Advise the patient to have the prosthesis inspected by qualified personnel if changes in func
tion occur.
► Observe the recommended sequence of the exercises and settings.
