1.1 Function
The 99B116 SoftTouch cosmetic stocking is used as a cosmetic cov­
ering for a transtibial prosthesis. The cosmetic stocking is pulled over
the foam cover. It improves the look of the prosthesis and provides
added protection against splashed water.
1.2 Combination possibilities
The product must be used in TT prostheses only.
• The product is intended for use only with the 6R8 and 6R18 PE
foam covers.
2 Intended use
2.1 Indications for use
The product is intended exclusively for lower limb exoprosthetic fit­
tings.
2.2 Lifetime
The product is a wear part, which means it is subject to normal wear
and tear.

3.2 General safety instructions

► Store the product out of reach of children. There is a risk of suf­
focation if the product is pulled over the mouth and nose.
CAUTION!

► Keep the product away from open flames, embers and other
sources of heat.
► Do not expose the product to temperatures above +80 °C or
below –20 °C.
Skin irritation, formation of eczema or infections due to contam­
ination with germs
► The product may only be used by one person; reuse on another
person is prohibited.
► Observe the cleaning instructions.

► Do not allow the product to come into contact with oils, ointments
or lotions containing oils or acids.
