6.6.3 Detaching/attaching the covers

INFORMATION
The manufacturer offers the covers in the following versions:
► Covers for headrest supports (see Fig. 76, item 1)
► Covers for lateral supports (see Fig. 76, item 2)
► Covers for thoracic supports (no illustration)
► Cover for the grab rail (see Fig. 76, item 3; see the following section for replacement)
► Covers for hip supports (see Fig. 76, item 4)
► Cover for the abductor (see Fig. 76, item 5)
1) Remove the seat padding or back padding if required.
2) Open the hook-and-loop closure on the cover.
3) Remove the cover from the support or abductor and clean it.
4) Slide the cover over the support with proper alignment. Note the following:
→ If present: position the side reinforced with foam material on the outside (over the screw heads) (see
Fig. 77, item 1).
→ Pull the cover over the support starting with the side that does not have a lug (see Fig. 78, item 1).
→ Pull the cover over the support with the help of the lug (see Fig. 78, item 2).
→ Before fastening the hook-and-loop closure, push and fold down the lug (see Fig. 79).
5) Put the seat padding or back padding back into place.
