Putting on the fixation vest
1) Unfasten the hook-and-loop tabs over the zipper (see Fig. 38, item 1).
2) Unzip the zipper (see Fig. 38, item 2).
3) If needed: Before putting the user into the seat, unfasten the clip buckles at the back of the seat and pull the
belt straps of the fixation vest forward somewhat (see Fig. 39).
4) Sit the user into the seat. Make sure that the user's back is up against the backrest padding.
5) Close the zipper (see Fig. 38, item 2).
6) If needed: Tighten the belt straps in the clip buckles at the back of the seat (see Fig. 39, item 3) and fasten
them.
7) Close the hook-and-loop tabs over the zipper (see Fig. 38, item 1). In daily use, the fixation vest can also
be put on/removed by opening/closing the clips on the front (see Fig. 40, item 1/2).

6.3.3.6 Groin strap

INFORMATION

The seating unit can be equipped with a groin strap that secures the pelvis in the seat for certain indications (see
Fig. 41).
Adjusting the groin strap
The adjustment of the final belt tension takes place when putting it on as follows:
Adjusting the belt length at the two clip buckles on the back of the seat (see Fig. 42, item 1).
Adjusting the belts in the strap adjustment at the leg straps (see Fig. 43, item 1).
Putting on the groin strap
1) If needed: Open the clip buckles and pull the belt straps of the leg straps to the front somewhat (see Fig. 42,
item 1).
2) Open the two clips at the leg straps by pressing on the fastener tabs (see Fig. 43, item 1).
3) Place the user on the groin strap and thread the leg straps between the legs and over the thighs to the outside
(see Fig. 41).
