6.3.12 Grab rail

CAUTION
Improper lifting by attendants
User may fall or tip over
► The grab rail must not be used to lift the seating unit or the entire rehab buggy.
INFORMATION
Please note that the grab rail cannot be combined with the options "armrests" or "tray", as the same mounts are
used.
The rehab buggy can be equipped with a grab rail that prevents the sitting child falling forward for certain indica­
tions.
The grab rail can be removed to facilitate getting into the buggy.
Removing the grab rail
1) Press in the tripod springs (see Fig. 68, item 1).
2) Pull out and up the grab rail.
Mounting the grab rail
1) Insert the proper sides of the grab rail into the adapter (see Fig. 68).
2) Press in the tripod springs (see Fig. 68, item 1).
3) Press down the grab rail until the tripod springs lock into place.

6.4 Disassembly/transport

CAUTION
Exposed pinch points
Crushing, pinching due to incorrect handling
► When folding out the backrest, only grip by the specified components.
NOTICE
Deformation when folded
Damage to the product, problems unfolding due to unallowable loads
► Never place heavy objects on the folded product.
INFORMATION
The product can be equipped with the Kimba Neo seating unit or alternative seating systems. In this case, please
observe the information in the separate instructions for use for the seating system.
The seating unit has to be removed from the mobility base (see Page 10) for transport.
