Installer must identify the pressure port of the supply valve prior to connection to the grapple's
main control valve. Failure to do so may result in severe internal damage to the valve.
1.
Connect a flow/ pressure meter to auxiliary valve.
For each auxiliary valve used, do the following (see schematic):
• Adjust flow rate (auxiliary valve).
• Adjust relief pressure (auxiliary valve port).
• Adjust system relief pressure at valve inlet section.
• Adjust pump pressure (auxiliary valve).
2. Run the return line from the grapple unrestricted back to tank, through the return
filter. Do not run back through the OEM machine auxiliary valve or combine with the
case drain line.
3. Run the case drain line unrestricted back to tank. Do not combine with the tank
return line.
4. Run the motor charge line. Charge lines are required for any grapple with a valve in
the turret. Motor charge line may be tied into swing motor tank line.
