6.4.9 Padding

The padding enhances the user's sitting comfort and also reduces the seat surface in the first months.
Attaching simplified padding
1) Put the seat pad onto the seat upholstery.
2) Guide the flap on the back end of the seat pad to the back, insert it between the seat and back support uphol­
stery and fasten it under the seat pad (see fig. 45).
3) Move the lateral pads of the seat pad to an upright position on the right and left sides.
4) Put on the back support pad and close the hook-and-loop connection to the seat pad on the lower end across
the entire width (see fig. 46).

Attaching seat pad with multifunctional back
1) Put the seat pad onto the seat upholstery.
2) Guide the flap on the back end of the seat pad to the back, insert it between the seat and back support uphol­
stery and fasten it under the seat pad (see fig. 45).
3) Put on the back support pad and lean it against the back support upholstery. Close the toggle fasteners on the
right and left sides between the back support pad and seat pad (see fig. 47).
4) For first-time installation: Pull off the adhesive pad on the outside of the lateral pad and attach it to the out­
side of the frame (see fig. 48).
5) Pull the lateral pads to the outside around the front frame on the right and left sides (and around the arm sup­
ports as well if applicable) and fasten them.
6) Properly adjust the back support pad to the back support upholstery and close the hook-and-loop connections
to the lateral pads (see fig. 49).
INFORMATION: The back support pad is equipped with zip closures with double sliders to create
openings for the head support, the shoulder harnesses of the five-point belt or the groin strap (see
fig. 50, item 1).
