6.4.14 Armrests

CAUTION
Improper lifting by attendants
User may fall or tip over
► The arm supports must not be used to lift the seating unit or the entire rehab buggy.
The seating unit can be equipped with arm supports that support the arms for certain indications.
The arm supports are screwed on to the left and right side of the front frame (see fig. 63). The height of the arm
supports can be set in two different positions.
Installing the arm supports
1) Hold the arm support adapter against the frame tube.
2) Insert each of the included bushings with collars through the arm support adapters and selected frame tube
holes from the inside (see fig. 64).
3) Insert each of the included bushings without collars through the arm support adapters and selected frame tube
holes from the outside (see fig. 65).
4) Screw on the arm supports (see fig. 66). Make sure that the screw head is on the outside.
Using the arm supports
1) Fold up the arm support before folding the rehab buggy.
2) Fold down the arm support before using the rehab buggy.
