7.25.1.2 Cleaning in a washing chamber/wheelchair washing system

1) Remove the seat cushion and upholstery, and follow the washing instructions for each article.
2) Verify the firm fit of the caster head cover.
NOTICE! The caster head cover must fit firmly so that no grease can be washed out of the ball bear
ings or displaced by compressed air. Otherwise damage to the bearing would result.
3) Wash the wheelchair at max. 60 °C (140 °F) for max. 10 minutes.
4) If necessary: Remove all components in which water has accumulated.
5) Allow the wheelchair to dry on all four wheels. Tilt the wheelchair slightly forward during this time so that water
can drain from the frame.
INFORMATION: We recommend drying with compressed air.
6) If necessary: Reinstall all components that were removed.
7) Before storing or using the wheelchair again, verify that it is dry. Wipe wet components with a cloth as needed.
8) Ensure that all labels (nameplate and warnings) are still legible. Otherwise replace these labels.
