4) Pull off/push on the drive wheel. It must not be possible to remove the quick-release axles after releasing the
push-button.

7.11.2 Rear wheel with one-handed operation (double push rings)

The wheel set for one-handed operation allows hemiplegics to operate the wheelchair with one hand:
Outer and inner handrim together: Both wheels are driven together. The wheelchair drives straight ahead
(see fig. 36, item 1 and 2).
Outer handrim: Only the drive wheel is moved. The wheelchair can be steered with forward, stopping or back­
ward movements of the handrim (see fig. 36, item 1).
The one-hand drive is supplied with special quick-release axle mountings and a telescoping rod.

Inserting/removing the telescoping rod for drive with one-handed operation
1) Set one side of the telescoping rod onto the wheel pivot protruding from the inside of the quick-release axle
mounting (see fig. 38, item 1).
2) Compress the telescoping rod (see fig. 38, item 2).
3) Set the other end of the telescoping rod onto the second wheel pivot and release the telescoping rod (see
fig. 38, item 3).
4) To remove the telescoping rod, compress it again and take it off the wheel pivots.
