8.17.3 Restrictions for use

WARNING
Risk of accidents and injury due to using the product with certain settings and/or installed options
Severe injury in case of accidents due to options coming loose
► Before using the product as a seat in a vehicle for transporting persons with reduced mobility, remove options
that need to be taken off for safe transportation. Please observe the following table.
► Stow all dismantled components securely in the vehicle for transporting persons with reduced mobility.
► Please note that certain settings on the product exclude the use of the product in a vehicle for transporting
persons with reduced mobility.

Transport wheels can remain on the wheelchair with installed drive wheels during transportation in a vehicle for
transporting persons with reduced mobility

The belt can be used to position the passenger during transportation. Using the personal restraint system is nev­
ertheless required.

8.18 Care

8.18.1 Cleaning

8.18.1.1 Cleaning by hand

1) Clean the padding and upholstery with warm water and a mild detergent.
2) Remove any spots with a sponge or a soft brush.
3) Rinse with clear water and let the components dry.
Important information on cleaning
Do not use any aggressive cleaners, solvents or hard brushes etc.
Clean plastic parts, frame parts and the chassis and wheels with a mild cleaner and a damp cloth. Dry thor­
oughly afterwards.

8.18.1.2 Cleaning in a washing chamber/wheelchair washing system

1) Remove the seat cushion and upholstery, and follow the washing instructions for each article.
2) Verify the firm fit of the caster head cover.
NOTICE! The caster head cover must fit firmly so that no grease can be washed out of the ball bear­
ings or displaced by compressed air. Otherwise damage to the bearing would result.
3) Wash the wheelchair at max. 60 °C (140 °F) for max. 10 minutes.
4) If necessary: Remove all components in which water has accumulated.
