7.9 Push handles

The push handles make pushing the wheelchair easier for the attendant.
Adjusting the push handles
The standard push handle installation is fixed and the height cannot be adjusted.
The telescoping push handle can be adjusted in height.
1) Release the clamping lever (see fig. 31, item 1).
2) Adjust the height of the push handle (see fig. 31, item 2).
3) Lock the clamping lever securely.
INFORMATION: Both push handles must be adjusted to the same height.

7.10 Stabiliser bar

The stabiliser bar between the push handles increases the wheelchair's stability, especially in case of high loads
(see fig. 32). It has to be opened before folding the wheelchair.
Opening the stabiliser bar
1) Open the star handle on the right side (see fig. 33, item 1).
2) Fold the stabiliser bar down (see fig. 33, item 2).
Closing the stabiliser bar
1) Fold the stabiliser bar up until the opening is against the screw of the star handle.
2) Hand-tighten the star handle.
