(2) Auxiliary I/O connector for auxiliary connections
(3) 2x RJ-45 connections to room bus
To terminate a 6-pole block connector for an auxiliary I/O
cable:
1. Terminate the auxiliary I/O cable with a 6-pole block
connector (not included), as shown below.
2. Terminate the other end of the cable as needed for that
auxiliary device.
To connect a NUCL4 light module:
1. Set the light's DIP switches according to your installation's
bus addressing scheme. See figure "NUCL4-H active light
connections", item 1.
Note: If your installation does not require DIP switches,
skip this step and use the Software Configuration Tool. The
DIP switches must remain in their OFF position.
2. If you are connecting an auxiliary I/O to the light, attach
the 6-pole connector from the auxiliary device to the 6-pin
terminal; otherwise, skip this step. Ensure the connector is
seated properly on the terminal pins. See figure "NUCL4-H
active light connections", item 2.
Note: When attaching RJ-45 connectors to the module, use
caution not to strain the connectors. If the cables are too
stiff, remove up to 15cm (6in.) of the cables' jackets.
