Room Modules
Mounting the Backplate on the Wall
Pull Cord Backplate
Mount the pull cord backplate over the backbox using the
holes in the corners of the backplate in order to ensure that
the module is IP44 splash waterproof.
Important: The screws inside the backbox must not be
used to mount the backplate. Four holes must be drilled in
the wall surface and fitted with suitable wall plugs to allow
the backplate to be mounted using the four corner holes.
To mount the backplate to the wall:
1. Place the backplate over the backbox with the four holes
in the corners of the backplate lining up holes in the wall
and with the side marked "UP" at the top.
2. Carefully tighten the four screws so that just enough
pressure is applied on the gasket to compress it evenly
between the backplate and the wall surface.
