7.3.1 Terminating a TV to NIAT Connection

The television connects to the NIAT via a 3.5mm plug that is terminated to a 4-pole block
connector. Terminate your connection as shown in the figure below. Be sure to include a
jumper from L- to R- (GND) on the terminal block.
Legend:
(1) 3.5mm jack to TV
(2) 4-pole terminal block to NIAT

7.3.2 Terminating a NIAT to NUBM3X Connection

The NIAT connects to the NUBM3X via a Cat 5/5e/6/7 cable connection. Terminate the
4-pole block connectors using two twisted wire pairs in the Cat 5/5e/6/7 cable, as shown
in the figure below.

7.3.3 Using the NUHS14B Handset for TV Audio

The patient handset NUHS14B is required to listen to the TV audio. The audio can be
broadcast through the speaker of the patient handset or through stereo headphones
plugged into the jack socket on the patient handset cable.
