2. Plug the RJ-45 connector of the network cable into the Ethernet socket of the display,
and then replace the strain reliever plate.

5.4.6 Mounting the Corridor Display

The corridor display can be hung from the ceiling using a nylon line suspension kit
(included). The corridor display can also be suspended from a wall with a wall-mounted
bracket (sold separately), or the display can be mounted directly on a wall.
Note: If you are installing a corridor display that was previously configured, be
sure to reset the device before installing the display. See
Factory Default" on page 53
5.4.6.1 Mounting the Corridor Display from the Ceiling
The corridor display comes with a nylon line suspension kit. Use the kit to mount the
corridor display from the ceiling.
Important: Hang the corridor display from the ceiling using two eyelet screw
anchors appropriate for the installation type. The eyelet screws (not included)
must be capable of adequately supporting the weight of the display (
. Only use eyelet screws that are compatible with the type of ceiling that
(32oz.))
you are mounting to, such as drywall, wood, or concrete. Use screw anchors, if
necessary. Never hang the display from drop ceiling tile rails, ceiling tiles,
electrical conduits, water pipes, etc.
When hanging the display from the ceiling, ensure that the display has sufficient clearance
from objects that may hit the display, such as opening doors or objects transported
through a corridor.
