the primary parallel port is set to LPT1.
(Your computer should have a setup
program that allows you to check the
CMOS settings.)
Remove the ink cartridges and check that
they have ink.
Visually check that the opening is clear
on each one.
Reinstall the ink cartridges checking that
each is properly placed in the correct
location.
Perform the thorough print head cleaning
procedure described in Chapter 6,
Maintaining the Printer.

into protection mode and slows down in
