5 Adjustments
5.1

General

To ensure the best laying quality with the HVZ-UNI-II, the device has to be adjusted properly to the concrete stone units.
Therefore follow the instructions step by step.
Warning: For all adjustments of the device make sure nobody is in the movement area while the hydraulic funktions of the
device are operating. Never make any adjustments on the device while hydraulic functions are operating. All movements
while adjusting the device have to be performed slowly and with caution, otherwise damages may occur.
For all adjustments the device must be completely shut down! For all operations you have to make sure,
that the device will not close unintended. Danger of injury!!!
Caution with all adjustments exists danger of injury the hands!
5.2

Adjusting the gripping depth

5.2.1

Facing bedding sand (planum)

Adjust the gripping depth (laying side) so, that the steel-
lamellas are gripping in the lower
fig. 2).
With extremely large stone layers it recommends to adjust
the gripping depth a little lower, so that the steel-lamellas
grip in the lowest range of the stone layer. Otherwise it exist
the danger that the stone layer breaks out.
