Height adjustment of the rollers

Drive with the gripped layer of pavers to the laying point and position the pavers next to the already installed
ones.
Adjust the height of the rollers , so the bottom of the steel-lamellas are positioned about
5 mm above the surface of the already laid pavers.

Annotations to the pushing-off device (ADV)
The patented pushing-off device (ADV) avoids the cocking of the pavers and thus an uncontrollable drifting
out of the pavers during the laying process.
The operation of the pushing off device is automatically integrated in the hydraulic operation of the main
clamp.
When the lever of the hydraulic valve is positioned to "main clamping closing", automatically first the
hydraulic cylinder of the pushing off device ADV is pushed out, the HVZ-UNI is now ready to be positioned on
top of a paver layer.
When pushing the lever of the hydraulic valve into position "main clamping open", first the hydraulic cylinder
of the ADV is going down, pressure from the top is exerted to the first row of pavers along the laying edge.
Only when the cylinder of the ADV is completely in a down-position, the main clamping starts to open and
releases the pavers which are pushed down to the screed simultaneously.
Height adjustable rollers
When installing special ecological pavers with large blind spacer bars (they cause
lower gripping security!) the height adjustment of the rollers can be done in a
different way.
In this case, the bottom of the steel-lamellas can be below the surface of the already
installed pavers because they reach into the big void between the already laid pavers
and the gripped pavers.
Make sure that the steel lamellas never are squeezed in the joint between the already
laid pavers and the gripped layer.
