5.1

Adjustment of Gripping Range

Before the product can be lifted and transported, the gripping range has to be adjusted to the
dimensions of the product.
Caution while adjusting of the gripping range. There is danger of injuring the hands!

5.1.1 Gripping range 1: from 0 mm to 200 mm (0-8") (triangle marking)

The  triangle markings (at the gripping arms) must be congruent (in the middle of the device) for
these gripping range (Fig. 2). The  triangle marking at the locking hook (2) must be positioned
over the plug bolt with linchpin (7) → Fig.3.
Remove the plug bolt with linchpin (6) or rather the plug bolt with linchpin (7), to adjust the gripping
range.
Never remove both plug bolts at once (only one after another)!
After the gripping range is adjusted, the device must be secured again with the plug bolt with
linchpin (7) or rather with plug bolt with linchpin (6).
5.1.2 Gripping range 2: from 200 mm to 300 mm (8-11¾") ( quadrate marking)
The  quadate markings (at the gripping arms) must be congruent (in the middle of the device) for
these gripping range (Fig. 2). The  triangle marking at the locking hook (2) must be positioned
over the plug bolt with linchpin (7) → Fig.3
Remove the safety bolt (6) and the plug bolt with linchpin (7), to adjust the gripping range.
Never remove both bolts at once (only one after another)!
