1. RS7000 System Overview
SAMPLING mode ...(Page 228)
This mode is used to record and edit samples.
The SAMPLING mode is made up of the following 3 sub modes.
• Sampling [STANDBY/START/STOP]...(Page 229)
Records samples.
NOTE
A "sample" is digitally recorded wave data that
includes sample parameter data which defines
the way it is to be triggered and played back.
• Real-time Loop Remix [REAL TIME LOOP
REMIX]...(Page 239)
Allows recorded sample phrases to be remixed in real time.
NOTE
The REAL TIME LOOP REMIX function divides
up the performance data in the selected track
and randomly rearranges part of it to create a
range of variations. Since this function works
with MIDI data, it can also be applied to tracks
that don't use samples.
• Sample Edit [SAMPLE EDIT]...(Page 241)
Allows samples to be edited. The sample jobs are also
included in this sub mode.
