On completion the Export successful screen is displayed.
Press Continue to return to the Instrument Log screen
Remove the USB drive and
review the files on a
computer
Select the log files required
or requested by Tecan
support and email them as
an attachment to Tecan.
Note: the log files are encrypted and can only be read by Tecan.

6.5.3 Errors

The MagicPrep NGS instrument will
display error messages on the screen if
a problem occurs within the library
preparation workflow: An example is
shown on the right.
Typical errors that may happen are
outlined in the table below.
In most case the problem or error issue
will be resolved by pressing Continue
and following the on-screen
instructions.
Problem / Error
Re-usable sample
deck appears loose in
the instrument, no
longer able to 'click'
into place.
Touch screen does
not react to touch

Possible Cause
The location slots at the
rear of the re-usable
sample deck frame may
wear over time.
Power is not ON
Power or communication
is interrupted
Corrective Measure
Replace the old sample deck frame with a new
one (PN 3185178).
Remove the power cable from the electrical
socket
 Switch off the instrument
 Replace the power cable
 Switch on the instrument.
