Standard Instrument: Error Messages

Plate Error
Program Too Big Error
Transport Error

The following errors can occur, which will not yield an error message from the
standard instrument's firmware:
Error Description
Display and LED dark
No or incorrect dispensing Dispensing needles
No or incorrect aspirating Aspirating needles
If the plate sensor does not recognize the plate or no plate is inserted on the plate
carrier, the following message is displayed:
NO PLATE
OK
Press OK and insert the plate correctly on the plate carrier
If the program has been defined with more than 60 process steps (each cycle is
worth 2 steps), the following message is displayed:
PROGR: TOO BIG
OK
Press OK and define a program with less than 60 process steps.
If the instrument cannot move the plate carrier, the following message is
displayed:
INIT ERROR
OK
Press OK to remove the error message and the instrument returns to the standby
mode.
Check that the plate carrier is correctly inserted and that the plate carrier system
is clear.
