Press the "Stop" button to stop the run
"Continue" will not activate the Stop
operation and the library preparation
run will continue
Once the run has been stopped, it will
take a few minutes for the MagicPrep
NGS instrument to complete the
current step or sequence and stop the
instrument in a safe manner such that
the partly used sample deck and
reagent cartridge can be removed
from the instrument.

Library Retrieval

On completion of the library preparation workflow, the MagicPrep NGS instrument will store the library
preparation samples. The maximum time allowed between competition of library preparation and
retrieval is 65 hours at typical laboratory temperatures (20 to 24°C ± 2°C and atmospheric pressure
(1013 hPa ± 10%). This is equivalent to starting a run late on a Friday evening/night and being
retrieved on a Monday morning.

guide(s) as outlined in section 6.

Consult this section for help on resuming operation after a problem has occurred with the MagicPrep
NGS. For further information, or in the event of problems not covered in this manual, or in insufficient
detail, please consult the section 'Customer Support'
From the Start up Screen select Settings
and the following screen will be
displayed with the following options
available:

Software update

Instrument Log
Support
System Information
Run Instrument Test
To return to the Start screen, press
Back.
6.5.1 Software Update
From a computer, access the tecan website (www.tecan.com/magicprep-ngs) and follow the
guidance to download the latest MagicPrep NGS software package to a USB drive.
