4. Remove the dust cover from the transceiver, as shown in Figure 44.

5. Verify the position of the handle on the transceiver. The handle should
be in the upright position, as shown in Figure 45.

6. Connect the fiber optic cable to the transceiver, as shown in Figure 46
on page 82. The connector on the cable should fit snugly into the port,
and the tab should lock the connector into place.
