Perform the following procedure to install the switch on a table:
1. Review "Reviewing Safety Precautions" on page 38 and "Choosing a
Site for the Switch" on page 42 to verify that the selected site is
suitable for the unit.
2. Verify that the table is strong enough to support the weight of the
switch.
3. Verify that the accessory kit came with all the appropriate items. Refer
to "Unpacking the Switch" on page 44.
4. Lift the switch from the shipping box and place it upside down on the
table.
5. Attach the four bumper feet to the bottom corners of the switch using
the four 3x4.5mm screws and a Phillips-head screwdriver. Refer to
Figure 13.

Note
The bumper feet are required for tabletop installation. They permit
airflow beneath the switch which promotes cooling.
6. Turn over the switch on its bumper feet.
7. Go to Chapter 5, "Verifying the Switch" on page 69.
