12.4.2 Transient transmission cannot be performed

The following lists the actions to be taken if transient transmission cannot be performed with
the target station, and GX Works2 cannot perform monitoring.
Check item
Is the D LINK LED of the master or slave station on or
flashing?
Is the baton pass status of the destination normal?
Are the following control data of the dedicated instruction
correct?
• Target station's CPU type
• Target station's network number
• Target station number
Is the station number of the Simple Motion module duplicated
with any of the other stations?

12.4.3 Station is disconnected from the network

The following is the troubleshooting action to be taken when a station in data link is
disconnected.
Check item
Is the ambient temperature for the module within the specified
range?

12.4.4 Station is repeatedly disconnected and reconnected

The following lists the troubleshooting actions to be taken when a station in data link is
repeatedly disconnected and reconnected.
Check item
Are 1000BASE-T-compliant Ethernet cables used?
Is the station-to-station distance 100m or less?
Does the cabling condition (bend radius) meet the
specification?
Is any Ethernet cable disconnected?
Is the switching hub normal?

12.4.5 Communication is unstable

The following lists the troubleshooting actions to be taken when link scan time or transmission
delay time is long or when a transient transmission timeout occurred.
Check item
Is the L ERR. LED of the master or slave station off?
Is the ambient temperature for the module outside the
specified range?
Is there any noise affecting the system?
If the D LINK LED is off, perform troubleshooting. (Refer to Section 12.3
(1).)
In the CC-Link IE Field Network diagnostics, identify the cause of the error
and take action. (Refer to Chapter 9.)
Correct the control data of the dedicated instruction.
Change the duplicated station number.
Keep the ambient temperature within the specified range by taking action
such as removing heat source.
Replace the cables with 1000BASE-T-compliant Ethernet cables.
(Refer to Section 5.2.1.)
Change the station-to-station distance to 100m or less.
Refer to the manual for the Ethernet cable, and correct the bend radius.
Replace the Ethernet cable.
Power on the switching hub.
If the L ERR. LED is on or flashing, perform troubleshooting. (Refer to
Section 12.3 (4).)
Keep the ambient temperature within the specified range by taking action
such as removing heat source.
Check the wiring condition.
