SBC - Safe brake control

STO - Safe torque off
Safety function in acccordance with EN 61800-5-2, supplies a safe output
signal to drive an external brake. SBC is the abbreviation for safe brake
control.
Safety function which tests an external holding brake and the motor brake.
SBT is the abbreviation for safe brake test.
Safety function in accordance with EN 61800-5-2, monitors the drive's di-
rection of rotation. SDI is the abbreviation for safe direction.
Safety function in accordance with EN 61800-5-2, monitors the drive to
check that it stays within a defined speed limit. SLS is the abbreviation for
safely limited speed.
Safety function in accordance with EN 61800-5-2, monitors the stop posi-
tion that has been reached and keeps this position within a defined range.
SOS is the abbreviation for safe operating stop
Safety function in accordance with EN 61800-5-2, brakes the motor in a
controlled manner and removes the power to the motor. SS1 is the abbre-
viation for safe stop 1.
Safety function in accordance with EN 61800-5-2, brakes the drive in a con-
trolled manner and then initiates safe standstill monitoring. SS2 is the ab-
breviation for safe stop 2.
Safety function in accordance with EN 61800-5-2, monitors the drive's cur-
rent speed to ensure it stays within a maximum permitted limit value. SSR
is the abbreviation for safe speed range.
Safety function in accordance with EN 61800-5-2, removes the power to
the motor and switches it to torque-free. STO is the abbreviation for safe
torque off.
