Setting Up the ADF Paper Chute (Feeder)

Documents loaded in the ADF paper chute (feeder) are fed into the ADF one by one when scanning starts.
When scanning a relatively long document such as an A4 size document, use the chute extensions 1 and 2 as
described below so that the document will be kept straight and fed smoothly.

Pull out the chute extension 1 and chute extension 2.
HINT
Make sure you hold the ADF paper chute (feeder) while pulling out the chute extension 1 and chute
extension 2.
