Diagnostic tools

Follow these procedures to help diagnose issues with GS Series 2K projectors.

Viewing projector information

View the status of the projector, source information, light source information, and communication
information. The information is read-only.
1. To view the status of the projector, such as model name, serial number, and so on, select Menu
> Information > Status Info.
2. To view source information, such as active source, signal format, and so on, select Menu >
Information > Source Info.
3. To view the communication information, such as network status, projector's IP address, subnet,
and so on, select Menu > Information > Communications Info.
4. To view the light source information, such as total projector hours and laser diode (LD) hours,
select Menu > Information > Light Source Info.
5. To view the firmware information, such as firmware (FW) version, F-MCU version, and so on,
select Menu > Information > Firmware Version Info.

Selecting a test pattern

Use the projector's test patterns to assist with configuration of the projector and to diagnose any
issues that may occur.
1. Select Test Pattern on remote control.
You can also select the test patterns from Menu > Test Pattern.
2. Scroll through the list of test patterns by left and right arrow keys on remote control.
3. Select the required test pattern.
4. To confirm your selection, press ENTER.
