PROGRAMMING THE TABBER
WHEN SELECTING HEAD 1 REFER TO SECTION "ADJUSTING TAB
POSITION", STEP 5 TO INSURE TAB SEPARATOR IS SET PROPERLY
19. "Select option to edit" screen for
Head 1 is different from Head 2. Select
Tab/Stamp option as we are going to
place a tab on side opposite of Head 2.
20. Select # Tabs and then select 1 from
"Number of tabs" screen.
21. "Select option to edit" screen reappears. Select Pitch and follow directions in Step 10.
Then use BACK key to return to "Select option to edit" screen.
22. Click on Position key and "Enter
offset for Tab 1" screen appears.
Position of this tab is 1.0" or less from
trailing edge. You can use same setting
as you used in Step 14 above: 5.600".
Enter this number using Number keys,
then press SAVE key.
Click BACK when done until you
reach "Select Tabber Head" screen.
23. By stopping on this screen you can run job or easily return to Head that requires
adjustment. You are now ready to run. Press RUN key on Control Panel and feed one or
two pieces. Then press STOP key and check tab positioning. If adjustment is required
refer to "Fine Tuning Adjustments" in this Section.
