7. Close Exit Roller Assembly and lock two latches to secure it.
IF TABBER IS NOT PROGRAMMED FOR TABBING JOB,
REFER TO "PROGRAMMING A JOB" SECTION FOR INSTRUCTIONS.
ONCE COMPLETE, RETURN TO THIS PROCEDURE.
8. Release Emergency Stop button. Turn Tabber Main Power Switch ON. Press Green
Transport Power button. Verify that Feeder is still turned OFF. Verify that Feeder
Interface Cable is attached between Tabber and Feeder.
9. Proceed by pressing Operate soft key to put Tabber in OPERATE mode.
10. Press RUN key on Control Panel to start Tabber Transport.
11. Feed two pieces using Feed Switch on Feeder.
12. Check positioning of tab or tabs on second piece. If an adjustment in tab position is
required, use Head Fine Adjustment Knob to make small corrections to side-to- side tab
position of tabs being applied by Head 1. refer "Fine Tuning Adjustments" section for
more information.
13. When you are satisfied with tab position, open Exit Roller Assembly and adjust Head 1
Stop against Head 1. Close and lock Exit Roller Assembly.
14. This completes setup for Head 1 to side tab.
IF ONLY USING HEAD 1, MAKE SURE THAT HEAD 2 IS DISABLED IN
SOFTWARE. SEE "PROGRAMMING" SECTION FOR INSTRUCTIONS.
15. Set Tabber Transport to desired speed with Speed Control Dial. Then set Feeder Auto-
Manual switch to Automatic and press RUN key to start running job.
16. If also tabbing with Head 2, proceed to "Head 2 Setup" in this section.
