The content of the printout:
Patient data and settings are indicated in the header of the printout.
After printing the header, the device prints a 300 ms long calibration signal with a 1 mV
amplitude. After that, the ECG curve printing begins.
The header contains the following:
 time and date of printing
 patient name (empty if not specified)
 patient identification code
 other patient data (date of birth, weight, height, blood pressure, etc.)
 printing parameters (paper speed, sensitivity, filter settings)
 device type and the software version number
During printing, the current heart rate (HR) is periodically printed at the bottom of the page.
Automatic curve positioning:
If the appropriate setting is activated under Setup/Printing, the device will attempt to
position the leads optimally during printing so as to avoid any overlap. Because of this, the
distance between the leads will not be equal, but it will depend on the amplitude of each
waveform. If a large amount of overlap cannot be avoided, the settings will be reset to equal
positioning. If any of the precordial electrodes are not connected, their place will be left out,
and no line will be drawn for them. (In case a limb electrode is not connected, the device will
not print.)
Actual printing speed:
With 50 mm/s printing, the actual speed of the paper is less than 50 mm/s, but the nominal
curve sweep speed is 50 mm/s.
In the case of 10 mm/s and 5 mm/s printing, batch printing is used to reduce acoustic noise.

8.12. Paper-saving printing (ECO printing)

Paper-saving printing can be enabled under Setup/Printing.
If this setting is enabled, pressing the
start the printing without the initial patient data table, and print the patient name, patient
identification code, and recording parameters (sweep speed, amplification, filter activation,
date) as a sequence below the curves. The calibration signal is also omitted and replaced by a
numerical output.
This printing mode is unavailable for stored records or for printing with 90 degree rotation.
