Filter Replacement Procedure
The filter located at the front side of the projector and should be replaced whenever the lamp is replaced. If you
are working in an extremely dusty environment you may want to replace the filter sooner. If this filter is not
replaced, airflow may become restricted and cause the projector to overheat.Use the filter provided in the
Christie approved Lamp and Filter Kit for your specific projector model. See
1. TURN OFF THE PROJECTOR, COOL AND UNPLUG
Before removing or installing a filter, turn off the projector and allow it to cool for 5 minutes before
unplugging.
2. REMOVE FILTER DOOR
Loosen the lock screw at the bottom of the filter door. Lift the door away from the projector. See
3. REPLACE FILTER
Remove the old filter and insert the new one.
Ensure the filter is installed with the arrows pointing into the projector.
4. RE-INSTALL THE FILTER DOOR
Secure the lock screw.

Only use Christie approved filters. See
The coolant used in this product contains ethylene glycol. Use caution when handling.
DO NOT ingest. DO NOT use coolant other than those specified by Christie for your
projector. Using unapproved coolant can result in projector damage and will void the
warranty.
